FAQs

Questions before your appointment?

A few simple answers to help you feel comfortable before your first visit.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your appointment begins with a conversation about your feet, your concerns and any relevant background. I will assess your feet and explain the care I recommend before treatment begins.

How much does an appointment cost?

Initial appointments are £50.00 as they take a little longer so we have enough time to discuss your health history and needs in full. Appointment prices vary depending on the type of treatment required. Please see the Services page for the current pricing structure.

How long does an appointment take?

Appointment length can vary from around 20 minutes to up to 1 hour, depending on the treatment required. I would allow 1 hour for your initial consultation and on average 30–45 minutes for ongoing routine appointments.

How often will I need appointments?

For ongoing care, most clients will see me every 6–8 weeks depending on your specific foot needs. We will discuss and agree on the appropriate frequency at your initial appointment.

What types of foot care do you offer?

Sole Harmony offers routine foot care including nail cutting, care of thickened and ingrown toenails, corn and callus removal, cracked heel care, fungal nail and skin concerns, and basic diabetic foot checks. Your feet will be assessed and the most appropriate care discussed with you.

Do I need to prepare anything?

There is nothing complicated to prepare. I bring all the appropriate tools and equipment with me to your home. If possible, make sure your feet are clean and easily accessible. Please also have any relevant information about your health or medications available. You can sit comfortably in a chair, armchair or sofa. I will need enough space to sit in front of you with your leg outstretched. I will bring a stool for myself and a footrest for you to use during your appointment.

Where do you offer home visits?

Sole Harmony covers Wellington, Somerset and addresses within a 10-mile radius of Wellington. If you are outside the 10-mile area, home visits may still be possible with an additional mileage charge. The exact mileage rate will be confirmed before your appointment.

What if I am not sure what is wrong with my foot?

That is absolutely fine. We can discuss your concerns at your appointment, assess your feet and decide on the most appropriate care or next steps.
